The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the UK by developing relationships with:

Concrete frame contractors
Groundworks contractors
Tier 1 contractors
Civil engineering contractors
Distribution partnersYou will identify project opportunities, convert enquiries into orders, and work closely with customers to provide commercial and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities across the UK construction market
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
Track and manage live project opportunities
Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Support quotation preparation and project pricing
Maintain CRM and sales pipeline records
Provide monthly forecasts and market intelligence

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

Experience in construction product sales, technical sales, or business development
Knowledge of reinforced concrete, civil engineering, or construction accessories
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong commercial awareness
Full UK driving licenceDesirable Experience

Selling to contractors, distributors, or structural engineers
Specification sales experience
Existing industry contacts
Knowledge of reinforcement or concrete accessory products 

Package

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Performance-related bonus
Company car or car allowance
