Secondary Art and Design Teacher 

Salford

April/ May start

Potential to become permanent for the right candidate

TeacherActive is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Salford to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love for Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

Full-time Art Teacher position
Planning and delivering engaging and imaginative art lessons
Encouraging creativity and self-expression in students
Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
Contributing to the wider school community, including displays and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Art within KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines
The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
