We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Suffolk, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Art Teacher. The school is committed to delivering a broad and engaging Creative Arts curriculum, encouraging students to explore a range of artistic techniques, develop their creative thinking and build confidence through visual expression. Job Overview: This school caters for students aged 11-16. Full-time, Monday - Friday, Art Teacher Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons across KS3 and KS4. Inspire students through creative, practical and imaginative teaching that develops artistic skills, critical thinking and individual expression. Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and positive outcomes. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all students can develop their creativity and achieve their potential. This Art Teacher role in Suffolk offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious secondary school that values both student achievement and staff development. You will play a key role in nurturing students' creativity, developing their technical skills and encouraging them to appreciate the visual arts while building confidence, resilience and independent thinking. What we're looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design or a closely related subject. Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school. A passion for Art and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners of all abilities. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).What's next?
