Location: East London (E13 area) 
Salary: £25,501 - £25,865 per annum (actual) 
Additional Benefit: First Aid Allowance 

Prospero Teaching is proud to be supporting a well-established secondary school in East London in their search for a dedicated Art Technician to join their vibrant Art Department. 

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting teaching staff, preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, can manage a varied workload, and is eager to learn new skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, organise, and maintain art materials, tools, and equipment
Support teachers during practical lessons
Help maintain a safe and engaging working environment
Assist with displays, exhibitions, and classroom organisation
Provide general administrative support to the departmentThe ideal candidate will:

Have a relevant degree/training
Be organised, proactive, and adaptable
Have an interest in the arts or experience in a similar technical/support role
Be comfortable working in a busy school environmentTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: 

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
