Job Description

Role: Assembly Fitter

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £30,000

Shift: 6am – 2pm (6am – 12midday on Friday)

This market leading engineering company are recruiting for Assembly Fitter to join their site in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to various industries across the globe.
 
 Main duties & responsibilities:

Assembling, testing, painting, and packing standard product ranges.
 Operating and setting machines in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
 Working from engineering drawings and daily plans to meet production targets.
Maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
 Engaging with continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas.
 Supporting team operations flexibly and developing your own personal development plan.
 Collaborating with internal teams including production management, planning, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
Skills / Experience:

Proven experience of fitting and assembly in a production manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
Ability to work on daily plans and tasks using numeracy and literacy skills
