Asset and Compliance Administrative Officer
Location: Lyndhurst (Hybrid/Worksmart Policy)
Salary: £35,646 per annum, pro rata (£18.48/hour)
Contract: Temporary to start ASAP until 31st December 2026
Hours: Full-time
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to provide vital administrative and technical support to Housing Maintenance and Compliance teams. This is a high-impact role ensuring housing assets remain safe and compliant with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Compliance Support: Assist in managing cyclical servicing and statutory inspection regimes.
* Data Management: Maintain accurate records for service contracts, health and safety files, and contractor performance.
* Complaint Handling: Support the service by gathering evidence, creating timelines, and drafting responses to customer queries.
* Flexible Operations: Support the Customer Service and Operational Planning teams with telephone, web, and email contact as required.
* Reporting: Help develop and produce regular assurance reports for statutory compliance.
What You’ll Need
* Experience: At least 3 years in a busy office environment, ideally within building maintenance or social housing.
* Education: BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies or NVQ Level 3 equivalent.
* Technical Skills: Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft Office) and a basic understanding of building construction or asbestos/CDM legislation.
* Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with tenants, contractors, and internal staff.
