Assistant Manager (Compliance & Customer Trading) | Food Retail | £38-42,000

Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager / Retail Operations Manager / Compliance Manager to join an established food retail business. This is an extremely important role in our client's structure and will involve a high level of responsibility for ensuring your store trades in a safe and legal manner.

As an in-store Assistant Manager in a large format store, you will be primarily responsible for supporting all aspects of operations in a large format store. You will be experienced in all elements of compliance including stock management, wastage control, managing hours, rota development and health & safety.

Key responsibilities as an Assistant Manager: 

You will be a passionate leader who is able to make an impact on an established store
As an Assistant Manager, you will take pride in your work and inspire those around you to reach your standards
Support responsibility for all operational aspects of the store
Audit and training of safe and legal standards
Rota planning and hours control
