Assistant Project Manager
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid Working)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join a highly respected construction consultancy in Nottingham. Due to continued growth and internal promotions, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across the Midlands and beyond.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with circa 2+ years' consultancy experience who is looking to broaden their project exposure, work alongside experienced Project Managers, and receive structured support towards chartership.
The Role
Working closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, with an initial focus on pre-contract project management.
Projects include:
Infrastructure schemes including roads, bridges and land development.
Education projects.
Commercial and wider construction developments.Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of multiple construction projects from inception through to completion.
Attending client and project meetings.
Assisting with contract administration and project documentation.
Monitoring project budgets, programmes and key milestones.
Carrying out site visits and liaising with clients, contractors and consultants.
Supporting senior members of the team on both pre and post-contract duties.About You
You'll ideally have:
A relevant construction related degree.
Around 2+ years' experience within a construction consultancy environment.
A good understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience using MS Project, Word and Excel.
A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and progress.
A full UK Driving Licence.What's On Offer?
