We’re working with a privately owned property investment company based in Newport who are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join their growing team. The company has an established portfolio across South Wales and is known for its high standards, hands on management approach, and long term investment focus.
The Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day management of residential properties, ensuring tenants receive an excellent level of service and that the portfolio operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with property inspections, maintenance coordination, and contractor management
• Supporting tenancy administration, renewals, and rent collection
• Handling tenant enquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety and landlord regulations
• Providing administrative and reporting support to the Property Manager and Directors
Requirements:
• Previous experience in property management, lettings, or a similar role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Competent with Microsoft Office and property management software
