This civil engineering contractor operates in the capacity of principal contractor and subcontractor across the South East for circa 150 different clients delivering fast-track projects and longer term schemes (£5,000 - £5 million in value) .
The role:
As a Assistant Quantity Surveyor in this business you will be responsible for managing anything from 2-10 schemes concurrently and 2-3 of your own key accounts. You role will include but not be limited to:
Creating cost estimates from schedules and preparing tender documents.
Contract oversight
Final accounting
Payment applications
Agreement and settlement of accounts
Monthly reporting
What are they looking for
Someone with 2 years experience in a comparable position.
Qualified to HNC standard or above in construction.
Drivers licence is essential as you will be visiting projects and clients.
