Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a 5 month Ongoing Contract, based in South East London

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support Commercial functions associated to projects.

Working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyor and Construction Managers, the successful person will mainly be responsible for the following processes:

  * Timely and accurate Cost Estimate submissions,

  * Accurate document preparation for Monthly Sign-off Meetings with the client,

  * Timely subcontractor invoice approval process,

  * Maintenance of accurate commercial records.

Requirements

Training and support will be provided, although below requirements have been considered required to succeed in this role:

  * 1-2 years’ experience in the office and/or site work.

  * Experience working with numbers.

  * Good numeracy skills.

  * Great attention to details.

  * Proficiency in MS Excel and general IT applications.

  * Good communication skills.

  * Excellent organisational skills.

  * Willingness to learn.

  * High level of responsibility.

  * Ability to work in an open space office, dynamic environment and against tight timeframes.

  * Fluent in English (verbal, writing).
