About the Role: You'll provide 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, aiding their learning, emotional well-being, and social skills in a school setting. This hands-on role focuses on inclusion, independence, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored support for communication, social, and behavioural needs.
Assist with IEPs and classroom activities.
Promote independence and self-confidence.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and professionals.
Monitor progress and ensure safety.Requirements:
Experience with ASD or SEN children.
Understanding of how ASD impacts learning/behaviour.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching) desirable.
