Location: Hackney

Tradewind Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work across Key Stage 2.

This role is ideal for an experienced Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant with a strong interest in behaviour support and pastoral care. You will work closely with pupils who require additional support to engage positively with learning and school life.

The Role:

Providing targeted behaviour and emotional support to KS2 pupils

Working 1:1 and with small groups to support behaviour, regulation and engagement

Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom

Implementing behaviour support strategies in line with the school's policies

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development

The Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (KS2 experience desirable)

Has experience supporting behaviour, SEMH or pastoral needs

Is calm, resilient and confident in managing challenging behaviour

Is patient, empathetic and consistent in their approach

Works well as part of a wider pastoral and teaching team
