Job Title: Entry Level / Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Longsight (occasional travel to Withington)
Contract: Full-time – Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Entry Level Teaching Assistant to support a primary provision in Longsight from September. This setting works with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom have been partially or fully excluded from mainstream education and require additional support to re-engage with learning and manage their behaviour.
This is a rewarding yet challenging role where you will work closely with pupils both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis. You will support them in developing positive behaviours, building relationships, and accessing education within a structured and supportive environment.
Due to the nature of the setting, some pupils may present very challenging behaviours. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and confident in managing difficult situations calmly and professionally.
There may also be occasional requirements to support at a second site in Withington, so flexibility to travel between locations is desirable.
