Job Description

SEND Teaching Assistant - Full Time Fishponds, Bristol- BS16 Monarch Education Monarch Education are working with a special needs school in Fishponds, Bristol to recruit a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant. This role is heavily focused on supporting pupils with complex and additional needs, and requires someone who is committed to working consistently, full time in a specialist setting. This is not a mainstream classroom role. The school supports pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), complex learning needs, SEMH, communication needs, and physical needs. Staff are expected to provide hands-on, structured, and consistent support throughout the school day. Important - Essential Criteria (Please Read Carefully) Do not apply unless you meet the following requirements: Full-time availability (Monday to Friday) Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, or relevant transferable experience (e.g. residential care, support work, youth work, or care settings) A clear understanding of working with individuals who may have complex needs and behavioursApplications that do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
