Do you have a passion for mental health, behaviour support, emotional wellbeing and helping students overcome barriers to learning? This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring Educational Psychologist, SENCO, HLTA, Teacher, Learning Mentor or Pastoral Support Worker to develop hands-on experience in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on students' lives. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to achieve academically, emotionally and socially. Why This Role? The Role Working alongside teachers, the SENCO and pastoral teams, you will: Support students on a one-to-one and small-group basis. Assist pupils with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs. Provide behaviour support and positive interventions. Support students experiencing emotional or wellbeing challenges. Help improve engagement, attendance and confidence. Build strong and trusting relationships with students. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Promote inclusion and equal access to learning. Contribute to safeguarding and student wellbeing initiatives. Support the delivery of personalised learning plans. What We're Looking For We are keen to hear from Psychology graduates who possess: A degree in Psychology or a related subject. A genuine passion for supporting young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience and resilience. An interest in behaviour, mental health and emotional wellbeing. A desire to pursue a career in education, SEN, psychology or pastoral support. Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from graduates, support workers, youth workers, care workers and those looking to transition into education.
