Job Description

BSL Teaching Assistant Location: Peterborough Contract Type: Long-term placement Pay Rate: £93-£105 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) About the Role: Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled BSL (British Sign Language) 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Peterborough area. This rewarding role involves working closely with a Year 5 pupil who is Deaf, supporting them to access learning and fully engage in school life. You will play a key part in ensuring the pupil can communicate effectively and achieve their full potential within a mainstream classroom setting. The school has a strong commitment to inclusive education and a nurturing learning environment, making this an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
