The Role
Premier Recruitment Hub is recruiting on behalf of a well-established property maintenance contractor for an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team in Tonbridge, Kent and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing teams carrying out planned maintenance and void property works within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard, while maintaining excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong trade background, previous supervisory experience and a proven track record of managing planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes and void properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate operatives and subcontractors across multiple sites
* Oversee planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes
* Manage void property refurbishment works from start to completion
* Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards
* Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks
* Monitor productivity and address any issues on site
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
* Liaise with tenants, clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication
* Order materials and coordinate deliveries where required
* Complete site reports, inspections and project documentation
* Support and mentor site operatives, promoting high standards of workmanship
* Ensure excellent customer service is maintained throughout all projects
Essential Requirements
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
* Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience within the social housing sector
* Proven experience managing void properties and planned kitchen and bathroom programmes
* A recognised trade background (such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Plastering or Multi-Trade)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations within property maintenance
