Building Manager

Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm

London NW8

£50k to £55k depending on experience

Experienced and conscientious Building Manager required for this high-end residential block in St John’s Wood. The Building Manager will be required to remain on site during working hours but will be expected to be available on the phone to liaise with the Out of Hours service and onsite staff to assist with any major emergencies outside of these hours. Duties will include daily management of all onsite staff (conducting appraisals, planning rosters, recruitment, inductions etc), carrying out daily checks of all plant and machinery and reporting issues to the Managing Agent, liaising with contractors, being the first port of call to resident enquiries and complaints, drafting building notices, reviewing risk assessments, ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are met, overseeing all security matters in the development, enforcing parking restrictions, ensuring that the property grounds are maintained, and managing all deliveries and parcels to the block. The Building Manager should have prior experience in one or more of the following areas: Property Management, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Customer Facing Services and Staff Management. Additionally, the individual must have prior Health & Safety experience to include requirements of the Building Safety Act for HRBs (high rise buildings)
