Surveyor - Social housing
Salary: £46,000 | Hours: 37/week | Location: Hampshire
We're after a hands-on Surveyor to join our clients team, inspecting homes, spotting defects, and delivering practical solutions. You'll manage repairs, minor and major works, and support projects from start to finish.
Day-to-day:
Inspect properties and assess repairs or disrepair issues.
Prepare technical reports and schedules of work.
Work with trades, contractors, and internal teams to make sure jobs are done right.
Approve and monitor adaptations like Disabled Facility Grants.
Support planned maintenance programmes and provide practical advice.
Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with queries or complaints.You'll need:
Experience in building surveying
HND/HNC, or equivalent in Building Surveying or construction-related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Confident with Microsoft Office; maintenance software experience is a plus.Why join?
