Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation requires a Business Administrator to provide administrative support to the Business Support Team Leader. Working with all discipline areas of the ND business to gather in, analyse and share outwards various information. Provide support, analysis and delivery for business improvements as identified during the business planning process.
There is opportunity to develop skills in this role and grow in terms of responsibility. Training in the relevant systems and processes will be provided. It is important that the individual is able to gel with the team, as it is a small team who work very closely together.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:
Strong academic record including education to A level or equivalent or administrative experience
Excellent IT skills - including MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams - ability to quickly learn new systems/programmes - MS Excel and database skills would be a strong advantage
Excellent communications skills - Communicates in an open, clear and meaningful manner
Excellent organisational skills - Attention to detail and accuracy, time management, ability to work independently, problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills, ability to co-ordinate others
A flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
Collaborative working behaviours, able to work as part of a team
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships within own team and in the wider business
Insightful personality - sharing a fact based approach to discussions and decisions
Positive attitude and behaviour, proactive and flexible approach
Manages own time and is organised (punctual and reliable), delivering tasks to time and quality constraints
Role information:
To monitor and manage the ND Business Support Team (BST) and Organisational Change mailbox
To identify actions required from emails, requests for support, and general enquiries and pass these to members of the team for actioning
To manage the BST Microsoft teams channel, to set-up and record closure of actions, to manage the page in an orderly fashion and ensure that relevant reports and information are easily accessed by the team
Ownership and maintenance of email distribution lists for the whole department (250 people)
To obtain data and run reports in various internal systems, to package this data in a way which can be used by the team
Maintain departmental organisation charts
