Business Development Lead (Energy Optimisation & Battery Storage) Hybrid (Head Office: Oxfordshire) £80,000 - £90,000 + Commission + Company Bonuses + Pension + Hybrid + Health Cashback Scheme + EAP + EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme Are you a commercially driven professional with strong experience in the UK energy sector, looking to take a lead role in shaping strategy for cutting-edge energy assets? This company is an established and rapidly expanding energy business, delivering innovative solutions to support the UK's evolving power network. With a diverse portfolio of assets and a strong presence across the market, they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Lead to drive commercial performance and optimisation strategies. In this role, you will take ownership of commercial strategy across a portfolio of flexible energy assets, including battery storage and renewable generation. You will be responsible for maximising revenue through optimisation, structuring complex commercial agreements, and managing key stakeholder relationships across trading, technical and finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the UK energy market, with experience across optimisation, trading interfaces or commercial strategy. You will have a proven track record of structuring complex deals and a deep understanding of flexibility markets and revenue generation strategies.
