The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth by acquiring and expanding a portfolio of B2B clients in the asset finance space. Acting as the primary relationship owner, you’ll guide customers from initial enquiry to funded outcome, ensuring every interaction is seamless and value-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
Proactively prospect and convert new business opportunities within existing and target accounts.
Serve as the main point of contact for your portfolio, delivering bespoke financial advice to uncover upsell and cross-sell leads.
Negotiate and close profitable agreements on terms that benefit all parties.
Consistently hit monthly and annual sales KPIs.
Manage a high-value portfolio with regular engagement to maximise retention and satisfaction.
Stay ahead of market trends, asset classes, and sector-specific financing needs.What You Bring
Proven B2B sales success, ideally in asset finance.
Deep knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and B2B relationship dynamics.
Confident user of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and core MS Office/Google Workspace tools.
Exceptional organisational skills to juggle multiple deals and deadlines.
Natural relationship-builder with a track record of retaining and growing key accounts.
Sharp problem-solving ability to craft solutions that align with client and business goals.
