Job Description

THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager, you will hold full commercial accountability for driving new business revenue, winning multi-site tenders, and expanding high-value accounts across the signage, architectural branding, and venue fit-out sectors.
Working closely with internal Estimating, Design, and Project Management teams, you will act as a trusted commercial advisor to Main Contractors, D&B Agencies, Architectural Practices, and Brand Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
  * Pipeline Generation: Identify, target, and win profitable high-value accounts, multi-site retail rollouts, and commercial signage contracts (£20k – £250k+ project values).
  * Consultative Selling: Engage directly with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Main Contractors, and Corporate Brand Managers to specify bespoke technical signage, illuminated displays, and wayfinding systems.
  * Relationship & Tender Management: Lead commercial pitches, manage RFP/tender submissions, and secure framework agreements with regional and national clients.
  * Strategic Networking: Leverage industry contacts across the construction, commercial interior design, and retail implementation spaces to build a sustainable pipeline.
  * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal technical CAD leads, manufacturing studio managers, and install teams to ensure seamless project handovers and healthy gross profit margins.
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive, hungry commercial lead with a proven track record of selling manufactured products, technical signage, or architectural sub-contract solutions into corporate or commercial client bases.
Essential Requirements:
  * 3+ years' proven business development / commercial sales experience within; branding, displays, large format graphics, or commercial fit out / furniture
  * Ability to read technical drawings, and collaborate with internal estimating teams
  * Strong existing network or ability to map out key decision makers across a blue chip base
  * Proven track record of hitting and exceeding personal revenue targets
  * Full UK Driving Licence
