Job Description

Roofing & Cladding CAD Technician Wanted

We are looking for a skilled Roofing & Cladding CAD Technician to join our team. This role involves planning and designing the external envelope of buildings, including roof systems and wall cladding that protect the structure and define its visual identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Design roof systems (flat, pitched, metal, green roofs, etc.)

  * 

    Design cladding systems (metal panels, composite panels, rainscreen systems, etc.)

  * 

    Produce accurate technical drawings using CAD software

  * 

    Select appropriate materials based on performance, cost, and aesthetics

  * 

    Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards

  * 

    Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors

  * 

    Resolve technical issues related to drainage, insulation, ventilation, and durability

Key Skills & Experience:

  * 

    Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

  * 

    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)

  * 

    Understanding of thermal performance and waterproofing systems

  * 

    Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
