Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Used Car Sales Manager at a reputable franchise-approved dealership in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive Sales Manager to lead a dedicated sales team within a well-established environment.
The successful Car Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving sales performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring profitability.
Benefits:
  * Basic salary of approximately £32,000 per annum
  * Uncapped annual earnings exceeding £62,000 based on sales performance
  * Access to a fully branded company car, including an electric vehicle option
  * 22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, with a day off in lieu for any bank holiday worked
  * Full manufacturer-approved training programme
  * Stable working environment within a reputable dealership
  * Working hours: 5.5 days per week, Monday to Saturday, with a flexible day off in the week; no Sundays and half a Saturday off each month
Duties:
  * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Executives to achieve and surpass sales targets as a Car Sales Manager
  * Work collaboratively with senior management to develop policies and procedures aimed at maximising profitability across vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories
  * Drive customer satisfaction and retention to increase loyalty and repeat business
  * Oversee vehicle purchasing and stock control processes to ensure efficient forecourt management
  * Maintain high standards of process efficiency and cost control across the dealership
  * Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive sales experience aligned with the dealership's brand values
  * Act as a role model and leader within the dealership to inspire team performance and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  * Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership
  * Exposure to a busy brand or medium to large-sized dealership environment
  * Strong background in sales management, with a focus on achieving targets
  * Solid experience in finance and insurance products
  * Ability to lead by example and motivate a team to deliver results
  * A UK driving licence with minimal points
  * Excellent communication and organisational skills
  * Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
