Job Description
Our prestigous client in Witham,Essex are looking for a Composite/Carbon Trimmer to join their team on a contract basis:
Key Responsibilities:
Trim, drill, and bond composite components to engineering specifications.
Work with carbon fibre and other advanced composite materials.
Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and jigs.
Ensure all components meet strict tolerances and visual quality standards.
Inspect and check carbon fibre parts for defects.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, following all health and safety guidelines.
Ability to use shot blaster to abrade parts for bonding.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Composite Trimmer
Background in motorsport or high-performance engineering preferred.
Proficient in trimming, drilling, bonding, and finishing carbon fibre parts.
Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Hours and Salary:
Monday to Thursday 16:30 - 02:30
£25.00 - £28.00 per hour
