About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our dedicated social housing repairs and maintenance team in Waltham Forest. You’ll be carrying out day-to-day reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor works in occupied and void properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys helping maintain safe, comfortable homes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance across social housing properties

  * 

    Complete tasks such as door hanging, skirting, flooring, kitchen repairs, and general carpentry

  * 

    Work efficiently to diagnose and resolve issues during first visit where possible

  * 

    Maintain a professional and respectful approach with all residents

  * 

    Ensure all work is completed to company standards and within agreed timeframes

  * 

    Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  * 

    NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry

  * 

    Previous experience within social housing or domestic maintenance

  * 

    Full UK driving licence (van provided)

  * 

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  * 

    Excellent customer service skills
