Principal People are working with a well-established Health and Safety Consultancy, to recruit a CDM Manager / Principal Designer to be working on a project with a prestigious manufacturing client of theirs in the Nottinghamshire region. The role is to provide CDM / PD responsibilities on a large-scale machinery and production line upgrade project. This requirement is currently for 6 months and is to pay the successful candidate a day rate of £(Apply online only)/day.
You will be responsible for:
* Support PD/CDM duties across the project
* Oversee contractor performance
* Review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
* Manage design changes
* Handle design queries and safety concerns
* Site management responsibilities with strong CDM knowledge
* Provide technical oversight of engineering drawings
What you will need:
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
* An engineering based qualification s desirable
* Principal Designer experience
* Experience in manufacturing / process plants / engineering environments
* Understanding of engineering drawings
* Strong CDM technical knowledge
