Location: Mundesley, Norfolk
Salary: £29,071 – £29,482 per annum (depending on qualifications)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role
Eleven 11 Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Children’s Residential Support Worker for a specialist residential service in Mundesley.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people within a residential care setting, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can grow, build independence, and achieve positive outcomes.
You will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to young people who may have experienced trauma and require additional emotional and behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in a residential setting
• Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model
• Support young people in developing life skills, independence, and confidence
• Encourage participation in new experiences and activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to deliver care plans
• Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviours
About You

Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting is desirable.
A full, valid manual driving licence is essential, and you must be willing to work shifts, including sleep-ins and waking nights as required.
Training & Development
• Opportunity to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (fully funded) within the first 24 months
• Ongoing training and professional development support
Salary & Hours
• Full-time: 38 hours per week
• Includes a combination of shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights
• Sleep-ins paid at £64.95 per night (typically 5 per month)
• Basic salary range: £25,174 – £25,585 (excluding sleep-ins)
