Job Description

Extra Men Limited are looking for Class 1 Drivers who are interested in ongoing work all year round with no drops or cancellations to help offer support to one of our must trusted clients in Coventry.

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of motoring and cycling products and services.

Our client is looking for early mornings at the moment, anything starting between 01:00-05:00.
Any shift pattern can be accommodated apart from a Monday-Friday, our client needs predominantly weekend coverage.

The work itself is delivering our client's products to their own stores around the UK. Driver are expected to unload at the stores, all products are in cages and are to be pushed off of the back of the tail lift and taken into the store.
The average shift is around 11-12 hours, 8 hours minimum paid, 45 minute break deducted.
Once you have given your preferred availability and start time window you will be booked on that ongoing, guaranteed.

Our client offers bonuses for weekend days worked (£50) as well as a sixth shift bonus (£60) and an increased rate during unsociable hours (20:00-06:00).

Drivers must be open to the possibility of nighting out as some of the runs may be longer.
This is a non-negotiable so please ensure you are okay with that before applying.

An assessment is needed before admittance to site ongoing.

If you are interested then please ensure you match the following criteria:

  * Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 2 years.

  * No more than 6 penalty points

  * No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements

  * Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

  * Punctual, reliable, and respectful of others’ time

  * Must be okay with handball (physical work), longer hours and the possibility of a night out
