Job Description

Class 2 Driver – Chatham

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our team in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for stability, with the potential to secure a permanent role. You’ll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries, vehicle loading/unloading, and ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: £16 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary (Temp to Perm option for the right candidate)
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities
Complete 10–15 drops per day, depending on route
Safely load and unload the vehicle – plenty of handballing involved, but equipment is provided to support
Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in line with company standards
Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
Maintain excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery pointsRequirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence held for at least 1 year
Minimum of 180 days’ driving experience on the road
No more than 6 penalty points on licence
Strong work ethic and ability to handle physical aspects of the role
Good communication skills and a professional attitudeWhat We Offer
