Job Title: CNC Lathe Setter & Operator

Location: Wolverhampton

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter & Operator. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities: 

Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components

Working confidently from detailed engineering drawings

Using micrometers, gauges, verniers, and other measuring tools

Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and quality standards

Making minor program adjustments when required

Performing in-process inspections and completing documentation

Maintaining machines, tooling, and a clean working environment

Skills & Experience Required: 

Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Confident using precision measuring equipment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and quality-focused

What We Offer: 

£13.50 per hour

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
