Mazco Recruitment is partnering with a pioneering software company that’s transforming how precision engineering businesses quote and estimate CNC machined parts for industries such as Formula 1, Aerospace & Defence, and Medical Technology.

We’re seeking an experienced Machining Consultant with a strong background in CAM programming and a deep understanding of machining physics. This is a unique opportunity to bridge hands-on CNC expertise with cutting-edge manufacturing software innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Provide technical insight into machining processes, toolpaths, and cost estimation logic.

  * 

    Collaborate with software and data teams to refine quoting algorithms and machining data.

  * 

    Liaise with CNC manufacturers to validate system accuracy and performance.

  * 

    Translate complex machining principles into actionable digital tools and solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  * 

    Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  * 

    Strong experience in a CNC machining environment – milling, turning, or multi-axis.

  * 

    Proficient in CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX, or hyperMILL.

  * 

    Deep understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining dynamics.

  * 

    Based in or commutable to London.

What’s on Offer:

  * 

    £60,000 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience).

  * 

    Monday to Thursday on-site, Friday remote working.

  *
