CNC Miller | Precision Engineering | up to £41,000 | Colchester area | 12pm finish on Fridays

An established precision engineering business is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their growing team at their facility based in a rural location near Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist looking to work with advanced machinery and modern programming tools in a supportive environment.

The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances. You will work across a range of 3, 4, and 5-axis machines, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming using Fusion 360
Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls
Working on 3, 4, and 5-axis machinery
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work meets ISO9001 quality standards
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment 

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller
Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
Experience with Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
Ability to work to ISO9001 standards
Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential due to location)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

What's on Offer:

Competitive pay up to £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Minimum 40-hour working week, overtime at an advanced rate
Early finish at 12pm every Friday
