Location: Nottingham
Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Coalville, Market Harborough

Salary: £19.00 - £21.00 per hour

Shift: Full Time Permanent

The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Programmers to join a busy engineering team in Nottingham. We are interested in candidates with experience as:

The role involves producing high-quality precision engineered components while working to technical drawings and specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

  * Setting and operating CNC turning or milling machinery

  * Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications

  * Editing and adjusting programmes to improve machining efficiency and accuracy

  * Carrying out routine machine maintenance and inspections

  * Loading materials and managing tooling requirements safely

  * Conducting quality inspections using measuring equipment and hand tools

  * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

  * Proven experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment

  * Experience as a CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist

  * Experience using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc or Winmax controls

  * Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining processes

  * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately

  * Competent using measuring equipment and hand tools

  * Good understanding of materials and tooling selection

  * Strong attention to detail and quality standards
