CNC Programmer – Miller (Hurco / Hypermill / Powermill)

Location: B18
Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour + (depending on experience)
Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–16:00 | Fri 07:00–13:00
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

A precision engineering company in B18 is looking for an experienced CNC Miller / CNC Programmer to join their team. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Hurco milling machines using Hypermill and Powermill.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Programming using Hypermill & Powermill

  * 

    Setting and operating Hurco CNC milling machines

  * 

    Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

  * 

    Selecting tooling, setting offsets and optimising machining cycles

  * 

    Conducting quality checks to ensure components meet tight tolerances

  * 

    Working closely with engineering and production teams

Experience Required

  * 

    Proven CNC Programmer/Miller experience

  * 

    Strong knowledge of Hurco machines

  * 

    Confident using Hypermill and/or Powermill

  * 

    Able to work accurately to tight tolerances

  * 

    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
