CNC Sales Support Engineer

Location: Near Camberley, Surrey

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits

Our client is a successful CNC precision engineering company and are looking for a CNC Sales Support Engineer. This is an in-house role based near Camberley, Surrey.

As CNC Sales Support Engineer your primary function will be to provide support to sales and engineering in delivering customer products and supporting tooling activities to ensure our engineering and production team have everything they need to deliver complete customers’ requirements.

You will be working with both the Sales department and Engineering Departments to achieve the above.

To do this you will need to have a sound understanding of production engineering with reference to CNC machining. You will have the ability to plan CNC machining operations. You will ensure that they are carried out efficiently by using your knowledge of materials. Experience of CNC machining is essential. You will need to be familiar with ERP or MRP production control systems as well as be able to utilise, CAD and Microsoft Office software to produce documentation and reports.

You will be required to work with the Engineering/Programming dept. and outside suppliers to procure appropriate tools, jigs and fixtures.

Hours of Work: The role is offered as a contracted 40 hour week. Monday -Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch (12:30 – 13:00), and Friday 08:00 – 14:00 with no lunch.
