Local authority in Wiltshire currently require a commercial property manager for an initial period of six months.
Purpose of the role:
• Direct, manage and monitor annual rolling programme of condition surveys of the Councils estate.
• Identify and secure agreement to and delivery of the £750k annual schools condition budget. To take a strategic view of the current and future infrastructure and asset management needs in relation to Education
• To advise schools on accommodation development and capital issues in line with the Councils priorities to keep the schools operational. Negotiate funding agreements with school governing and Academy Trust bodies in relation to capital schemes either being delivered by these bodies on the Councils behalf or by the Council or their behalf.
• To prepare appropriate reports on Education asset management, place planning or capital issues for Councillors and senior officers as required
