Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Central Belt, Scotland
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Company Van & Fuel Card

We're working with a leading Building Services and Energy company to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team covering the Central Belt of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to join a well-established business offering an excellent salary, door-to-door travel and long-term career progression.

The Role

As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and commercial gas installations across a variety of commercial properties throughout the Central Belt.

This is a varied role where you'll be expected to work independently while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  * Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.

  * Diagnose faults and complete repairs on commercial heating equipment.

  * Install, service and commission commercial gas appliances.

  * Work on forced draught burners and associated plant.

  * Carry out electrical fault finding on commercial heating systems and controls.

  * Complete all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation.

  * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current Gas Safe regulations.

  * Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  * Commercial Gas Qualifications including COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CORT1 and TPCP1A.

  * Proven experience working on forced draught burners.

  * Strong electrical fault-finding ability.

  * Ideally hold Commercial Gas Testing & Purging qualifications.

  * Experience carrying out both commercial gas installations and maintenance.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

  * Excellent customer service and communication skills.
