Job Overview
An established and growing organisation within the defence, aerospace, and public sector is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across complex programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full contract lifecycle from bid to close-out
* Lead contract negotiations and commercial strategy
* Ensure compliance with Procurement Act and SSCR
* Manage risk, variations, claims, and disputes
* Support pricing and cost modelling
* Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations)
Requirements
* Experience in Commercial Management within defence, aerospace, or public sector
* Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and frameworks
* Experience with DEFCONs and DEFSTANs
* Knowledge of contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Framework Agreements)
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* MCIPS (desirable)
* Export control knowledge (ITAR/EAR) advantageous
* Eligible for security clearance
