Commercial Manager – Bedfordshire – Highways – £Negotiable

Are you looking for a role that offers long-term project security, genuine career progression and the opportunity to be part of one of the busiest infrastructure teams in the UK? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful civil engineering contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects across the Bedfordshire region.

This role will involve overseeing the commercial delivery a couple of local authority highway schemes to the value of circa £100m from ECI phase.

This is far more than simply joining a project or two…. You’ll be joining an extremely busy and growing business unit with a substantial pipeline of secured work, major long-term frameworks and significant investment across infrastructure. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex civil engineering schemes whilst also creating an environment where people can progress and develop their careers long term.

The role itself will involve overseeing the commercial delivery of projects, leading commercial teams, managing client and supply chain relationships, driving financial performance and ensuring strong commercial governance across schemes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within highways or major civil engineering projects and be comfortable operating within collaborative framework and NEC contract environments.
