Commissioning Officer – Adult Social Care
Location: Northampton (2 days on-site, 3 remote)
Contract: 3 Months+
Hours: 37 per week
Rate: £24.63 Umbrella per hour (£18.00 PAYE)
We are recruiting for a Commissioning Officer to join the Adult Social Care team on an initial 3-month contract. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week on-site in Northampton and 3 days remote.
Key responsibilities include:
Collection, monitoring and analysis of performance-related data
Producing reports and interpreting complex data sets
Managing relationships with adult social care providers
Supporting financial, procurement and legal commissioning activities
Delivering engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders
Conducting benchmarking exercises and market research
Preparing written reports, business cases and proposals in line with commissioning requirements
The successful candidate will have experience within commissioning, adult social care, local government or a related public sector environment. Strong analytical, stakeholder management and reporting skills are essential.
