About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance and Risk Manager to lead the coordination, reporting, and standardisation of compliance processes and risk controls across our Rail Services division. This role ensures consistent, effective, and efficient management of compliance and risk activities, supporting governance standards and promoting a culture of accountability and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain corporate compliance and risk frameworks across Rail Services.
Develop and implement standardised controls and processes for risk management, data protection, and corporate compliance.
Conduct compliance and risk assurance reviews, audits, and training.
Act as Data Protection and Retention Lead, ensuring full adherence to regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Lead quarterly and annual reporting on compliance and risk to senior leadership.
Manage compliance communication plans and support awareness initiatives across the organisation.
Support the development and review of Risk Registers and facilitate regular compliance reviews.
Collaborate with group functions to share best practice and enhance compliance maturity across the business.
About You
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance, governance, or risk management roles.
Strong understanding of corporate policy compliance, data protection, and risk management frameworks.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business areas.
A proactive, self-starting approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in compliance, audit, or risk.
