Based in Teddington, London

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Operations Manager to oversee compliance across cleaning, logistics, and customs operations for a large laboratory site. Your mission: ensure adherence to client standards, legal requirements, and best practices in health and safety.

As a Compliance Manager, you’ll:

  * Lead compliance audits and site inspections to maintain health, safety, and operational excellence.

  * Train and support supervisors on Health & Safety and logistical processes, ensuring knowledge is cascaded effectively across all site staff.

  * Develop and implement internal health and safety policies aligned with current legislation.

  * Advise teams on risk assessments and ensure robust risk controls are in place and regularly updated.

  * Collaborate with managers and site teams to embed a strong compliance culture.

As a Compliance Manager, you’ll have:

  * Proven experience in compliance or health and safety—ideally within facilities management or the public sector.

  * Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, work under pressure, and influence at senior levels.

  * Working knowledge of Health & Safety systems within the logistics industry.

  * A methodical, multi-tasking approach and resilience under pressure.

  * A satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
