Overview
 A leading construction and maintenance company is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Maintenance Works Supervisor to oversee and coordinate projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead diverse construction and maintenance works across multiple sites in Devon and Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on small construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to optimise workflow and productivity
Review project plans and drawings to ensure accurate execution
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections for progress monitoring, quality control, and health & safety compliance
Troubleshoot technical issues and lead problem-solving during unforeseen challenges
Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, changes, and safety incidents
Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to team members to foster a collaborative work environmentQualifications & Skills

Proven experience supervising construction projects with strong management and coordination skills
Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields (preferred but not essential)
