Mainteance Manager, Temp to Perm, 20.00 per hour, Hamilton

Responsibilities
  * Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40hrs)
  * Manage day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) contracts.
  * Ensure all work meets agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
  * Oversee job allocation, progress tracking, and completion via internal systems.
  * Lead and manage a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors, ensuring performance, compliance, and productivity.
  * Act as the main point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and handling escalations professionally.
  * Monitor commercial performance, including job costs, labour, subcontractor spend, and contract margins.
  * Review and approve quotes, variations, and additional works; support accurate invoicing with accounts teams.
  * Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation, reviewing RAMS and supporting safe systems of work.
  * Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to business growth.
Requirements
  * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, or similar FM role.
  * Strong background in reactive maintenance and/or facilities management.
  * Experience managing engineers, subcontractors, and multi-trade projects.
  * Skilled in SLA/KPI-driven environments.
  * Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and commercial skills.
  * Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  * Exceptional client communication and relationship management abilities.
  * Proficiency with CAFM systems or job management platforms.o
