Title: Cover Supervisor – Secondary School
Location: Boston
Salary: £100 – £130 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term
GSL Education is seeking confident and motivated Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Boston with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to gain valuable classroom experience.
Whether you are looking for flexible work or a longer-term position, this role offers variety and the chance to develop your skills in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students stay on task
Provide support and guidance to students during lessons
Maintain a positive, structured learning environment
Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, or youth work)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Confidence leading a classroom independently
A proactive and flexible approach
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
