Job Description

Are you a confident Cover Supervisor who can engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4?

Do you have strong classroom management skills and the confidence to deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive secondary school based in Tunbridge Wells. The school aims to achieve academic excellence while providing students with a caring and nurturing environment, and strongly believes that learning goes beyond the classroom through a varied co-curriculum that supports students' wider development.

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a short-term basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will work across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

Experience working with secondary-aged students 
Confidence delivering pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to confidently cover a range of subjects
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
