The Supply Register is recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support William Lovell Academy, part of the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll deliver short‑term and day‑to‑day cover during teacher absence. You’ll supervise pupils as they complete pre‑set work, maintain a positive classroom environment, and ensure lessons run smoothly.

You’ll play an important role in keeping pupils engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise whole classes using pre‑prepared lesson plans
Maintain calm, well‑managed classroom environments
Give clear instructions and keep pupils on task
Encourage positive behaviour and participation
Follow school policies and report any concerns
Build strong professional relationships with pupils and staff

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with young people (school experience beneficial but not essential)
Confidence managing a classroom independently
Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
A proactive, reliable approach
A genuine interest in education
